We were so confident from the beginning but the amazing quality of each picture surpassed our expectations. His talent defined the art of our precious event. Chris Chavira photographed my grandmother’s 95th birthday and he captured some of the most exciting moments of this important occasion. Our guests loved his involved, but not intrusive, style of photography and the energy he brought. My wife and I had twin boys in April, and we couldn’t wait to get professional portraits of our family done. We were concerned to find a photographer who would be unobtrusive in our small wedding, and who would record the event, capturing our friends and family. Chris was great, in this regard. He also shone during the posed pictures, working with family. (My uncle kept saying, “I love that guy!”) He is always professional and conscientious, from the initial interview to the delivery of the final product. I believe that we received a (very high-quality) electronic copy of every picture he took. We also chose, at the last minute, to add a video. I am glad we did it. It is nice to have. Overall, we are very satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend CCIMAGES to our friends.
My husband and I are so HAPPY Chris was our wedding photographer. At the wedding, Chris thought up wonderful/artful shots capturing memories for my husband and I. AND he is great with children, he was able to get my little nieces and nephews look at the camera and smile. I’ve received so many compliments on the photographs from friends and family. Chris did an amazing job photographing our wedding. Our event was hosted in a very industrial area and Chris found places to photograph that I never would have imagined to be perfect for wedding pictures, but he did! The shots are beautiful. I received more compliments on the pictures than I can count! We enjoyed his style in directing us and he fit in perfectly with our family and friends and made the day very special. I felt like a princess and Chris really played on that and captured some great moments. We liked him so much that we are even going to have him shoot our head shots! Thank you Chris! Chris and his team were amazing! They were excited, involved, inspired, and artistic the ENTIRE day! Chris made me feel like a rock star; a Hollywood glam/silver screen Diva; an Indie girl. At no time was he in the way, and at no time did he miss any important moment. I was glad that he brought an assistant (I HIGHLY recommend this option) because it wasn’t until receiving the pictures did I see what the Guy’s Side was like! Chris is awesome! Chris shot our engagement shoot and wedding, and we could not be happier with how our pictures and wedding album turned out. He was very good at putting everyone at ease, so we got used to being in front of the camera and that helped the pictures turn out natural–not just of us, but of our family and friends too. We also got the pictures themselves very soon after the wedding. We feel we could not have picked a better photographer, thank you Chris!
Hiring Chris Chavira to be our wedding photographer was one of the best moves we made in the process. Every interaction with Chris was timely, professional and stress-free. He responded to my initial inquiry/e-mail the same day, we met the next and my then-fiancé and I left our appointment knowing we had found the right guy… after weeks of searching on the Web and being really disappointed. Every e-mail, phone call and meeting after that went just as smoothly. Chris’s pricing is incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the photos and his time/focus. I was blown away by the pictures and moments he so beautifully captured, and we didn’t even know he was around half the time! My husband and I could not have been happier with Chris and his team, and all our wedding guests commented on how personable he was. CCIMAGES was fabulous at our wedding. We had a small and very intimate wedding which was beautifully captured. I had seen Chris’s portfolio about 2 years before I started planing my wedding and fell in love with the images and stories captured. After looking at dozens of other photographer’s portfolios and websites, I finally found his contact information and knew my fiancé would love his portfolio too. They met with us in a timely fashion and provided us with all the information we needed to decide. He was very professional and organized. On our wedding day, we were worry-free and knew our photographs would be great. He was so great with our families and friends too. The photographs from our wedding are both timeless and artistic. Having Chris Chavira as our wedding photographer was a wonderful experience. He was very helpful leading up to wedding day, explaining and recommending ideas to make the photographic session fun. I highly recommend Chris Chavira for your specialty portraiture needs, such as dance photography. He had taken photographs of me in some of my Middle Eastern dance costumes. Almost all belly dance photo shoots produce very typical images that are taken in studios with plain backgrounds and the dancers pose in the “standard” dances poses. These images usually are not very artistic or creative. Mr. Chavira on the other hand, utilizes the environment and the natural landscape (for me the photos took place outdoors by the beach) to create scenes that are unique, stylish and fashionable. I know that my photos will stand out in the world of static dance portraiture. Rather than looking like standard dance stills, they look like were produced for a fashion magazine. I also liked how he had me pose in unusual poses that complimented my personality, body, mood, costuming and the natural landscape.
